Program and registration information for the 76th Annual Meeting of the Mountain-Plains Philosophy Conference (February 18-19, 2023) is now available! This year’s keynote address will be given by Karen Mizell (Utah Valley University), titled “Silenced and Invisible: Confronting Childism through Philosophy for Children.”

The conference will meet entirely online, with no registration fee required. If you’d like to attend, please email our 2023 Program Chair, Allison Fritz (Chadron State College) with your name and affiliation in order to register and get the Zoom links for each session.

Call for Papers: The 76th Annual Meeting of the Mountain-Plains Philosophy Conference

The 76th Annual Meeting of the Mountain-Plains Philosophy Conference will be hosted online by Chadron State College February 17-19, 2023, and we’re looking for papers!

Submissions on any philosophical topic are welcome. Papers should be no longer than 3,000 words (excluding notes and references), suitable for reading aloud, and prepared for blind review. Please include the following information on a cover page in a separate file:

1.    Title of paper

2.    100-word Abstract (excluded from wordcount)

3.    Word count of paper (excluding notes and references)

4.    Authors name

5.    Author’s institutional affiliation

6.    Author’s email address

7.    Author’s phone number

8.     Should your paper not be accepted, please indicate whether you would still be willing to serve as a commentator or section chair.

The paper and cover page should be sent in .doc, .docx, .pdf, .rtf, or .txt format to: mtplainssubmissions@gmail.com
